Google Image Search

Google has changed the game again…now it is possible to search the internet for a specific image, be it one you find online, one on your computer…whatev. This is a very user friendly (though potentially time consuming) tool for photographers who want to see where their images are being used…with, or without permission. It is super easy to use, just go to http://images.google.com and test it out.

I found that the easiest way to use it was to download the Firefox Extension so that I can right click on any image to see where it is presently being used on the internet.

Many thanks to Ira Gerlich and Ian Coble for the heads up on this new feature.

I just downloaded and installed Firefox 5. No real big changes/improvements…however, the Firefox Extension that worked like a charm previously, is no longer compatible. Guess we’ll have to wait for a fix…
